Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead the region's only state-designated
Level II Trauma Center while helping shape the future of Emergency Medicine education through a growing partnership with
UCF College of Medicine.
This is a rare opportunity to influence a high-acuity, multi-site Emergency Medicine program, remain clinically engaged, and help
establish the clinical foundation for a new Emergency Medicine residency anticipated to launch in 2028.Position Snapshot- Medical Director opportunity with continued clinical practice
- 44-bed Emergency Department with approximately 55,000 annual visits
- Tri-County area's only Level II Trauma Center
- Affiliated emergency departments in Destin and Navarre
- 309-bed regional referral center
- Academic partnership with UCF College of Medicine
- Emergency Medicine residency anticipated for 2028
- Internal Medicine residency established in 2024
- Transitional Year residency launching in 2026
- Clinical training site for Auburn VCOM medical students
