Job Summary and Qualifications
The Rehab Technician assists with activities in support of maintaining a clean, safe and functional department as directed by the Rehabilitation Therapy licensed therapists (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, ST). What you will do in this role:
- You will set up therapy treatment and assist therapists with patient care.
- You will monitor the department inventory, including patient supplies, linen, office supplies and copied materials, and notify appropriate personnel when any need to be replenished.
- You will clean and maintain equipment.
- You are clean the work area, including returning equipment to appropriate location after treatments, removal of dirty linen and disposal of any debris.
- You will perform clerical support duties and provide general assistance as needed.
What qualifications you will need:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- BLS required
- Previous medically-related experience preferred such as a rehab tech, nursing assistant, or patient transportation assistant.
- Verbal and written communication skills required to communicate with patients and discuss work issues with staff members.
