Job Summary and Qualifications - Night shift 12 hour shifts
As an Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a valued member of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care, while honoring each professional’s skills and expertise in obstetrics and surgery. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure every patient receives compassionate care. With access to training and mentorship, predictable scheduling with on-call support, and clear pathways for growth, you’ll have the tools and environment to follow your passion for obstetric surgery while improving the lives of families every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
- Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
- Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
- Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
- Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED, or Vocational School Graduate
