This position partners closely with Investor Relations leadership, Finance, Legal, Communications, Treasury, Corporate Development, and senior executives, and under certain circumstances, engages directly with institutional investors and sell-side analysts as appropriate. The role also drives operating leverage through automation, data infrastructure, workflow redesign, and scalable analytical processes.
Major Responsibility:
Capital Markets Strategy & Executive Decision Support
- Support IR leadership and senior executives through valuation, capital allocation, shareholder return, investor perception, peer benchmarking, and market intelligence analysis.
- Translate financial, market, investor, policy, and peer intelligence into concise executive-ready analysis that informs IR strategy, earnings preparation, investor messaging, and capital markets decisions.
Financial Modeling, Valuation & Consensus Analytics
- Build and maintain financial models, DCF analyses, service-line benchmarking tools, guidance trackers, sell-side model diagnostics, and scenario analyses to support earnings readiness and investor messaging. Analyze sell-side estimates, valuation ranges, price targets, consensus movement, guidance assumptions, and investor modeling conventions to identify key trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct capital allocation, shareholder return, peer performance, and valuation analyses, including Bull/Base/Bear case assessments and other recurring or ad hoc financial analyses.
Earnings Preparation & Investor Communications
- Play a central role in quarterly earnings preparation, including initial drafting and analytical support for press releases, CEO/CFO prepared remarks, Q&A materials, investor decks, talking points, and executive briefing materials.
- Support development of investor-facing materials in partnership with IR leadership, Legal, Communications, Finance, and executive stakeholders, ensuring messaging is accurate, consistent with prior public disclosures, and appropriately sourced.
- Research previous company and peer disclosures, transcripts, policy commentary, and investor questions to inform earnings readiness and investor messaging.
Investor Targeting, Engagement & Market Intelligence
- Develop investor targeting and engagement strategies for priority shareholders, including analysis of investor type, suitability, ownership trends, engagement history, geography, and corporate access objectives.
- Facilitate and support IR leadership engagement with institutional investors and sell-side analysts across earnings, conferences, roadshows, bus tours, HQ visits, and inbound discussions, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Synthesize sell-side research, investor feedback, policy analysis, third-party intelligence, and market activity into executive briefs that identify perception gaps, emerging risks, and shifts in consensus expectations.
Disclosure, Peer & Policy Analysis
- Improve disclosure analytics and non-GAAP consistency by analyzing investor modeling conventions, derived metrics, potential areas of investor confusion, and peer disclosure practices.
- Monitor peer transcripts, press releases, public studies, health policy developments, and sector intelligence; flag notable commentary and implications for IR leadership.
- Analyze investor conclusions on seasonality, magnitude, and direction of public disclosures and back-test assumptions from investor inbounds as needed.
IR Analytics, Infrastructure & Automation
- Lead development and use of IR analytics, dashboards, CRM insights, website analytics, recurring data packages, and data infrastructure to support investor targeting, engagement strategy, executive reporting, and capital markets analysis.
- Create operating leverage through automation and workflow redesign, including data pipelines, standardized templates, reusable exhibits, source-of-truth tools, and recurring outputs that improve quality, turnaround time, and control.
- Maintain or oversee documentation of data sources, refresh cadence, definitions, formulas, and quality-control checks to ensure recurring IR analytics are consistent, auditable, and reliable.
Cross-Functional Strategic Support
- Partner with Financial Reporting, Treasury, Legal, Communications, Corporate Development, and other teams on strategic analyses, earnings readiness, disclosure support, policy analysis, and select transaction or diligence-related projects.
