Job Summary and Qualifications
The Division AVP Infection Prevention serves as the division’s infection prevention officer and primary liaison between division and corporate offices. This position aligns HCA Healthcare’s infection prevention strategic initiatives within the division to provide a safe environment for all patients, colleagues, and visitors. Other duties include leading the development and sustainment of strong infection prevention and control programs across all hospitals and outpatient services within the division, and providing expert guidance and direction to ensure consistent, effective application of evidence-based practice and compliance with regulations. What qualifications you will need:
- Master's degree in a healthcare clinical or healthcare administrative field required
- 5+ years of relevant infection prevention experience in an acute care setting required
- 3+ years of management experience required
- Current state license (required by some states) preferred
- Current CIC (Certification in Infection Control) required
