Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager - Strategic Workflow Optimization will be a key player in identifying and executing initiatives that result in increased operational efficiencies. From conceptualizing and drafting the initial business case to execution using various methods. The Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to improve revenue cycle workflow. The Manager will drive collaboration and consensus within the business to ensure that the end product attains high levels of adoption and acceptance. The Manager must have a quantitative mindset and able to develop metrics demonstrating improved workflow from an end-to-end perspective.
In this role, you will:
- Shadow and learn various revenue cycle job functions in order to determine potential workflow enhancements
- Develop, coordinate and follow through on team ideas and solutions
- Assess the complexity of business problems to determine the effort required for process design of automation engagements.
- Understand stakeholder’s roadmaps and provide automation solutions to achieve business goals.
- Manage a team that leads and designs automations aimed at: improving the customer experience, reducing errors, reducing expenses, increasing revenues and creating capacity.
- Conduct design study processes; conducting studies in support of system redesign and business process reengineering, improvement and management; developing implementation plans; and supporting the process of implementing and sustaining improvements.
- Write business cases regarding idea proposals
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics/Analytics, Information Science, Engineering or similar field of study. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirement.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required, preferably with Parallon
- Must have strong analytical, written, and presentation skills and the application of quantitative analysis techniques as applied in a revenue cycle environment
- Six Sigma experience preferred
- Experience within healthcare operations preferred
