Pay: $26.00–$32.00 per hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for a patient in the Katy area.
This is a great opportunity for an LVN who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing personalized care in a home setting.
Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is not required. Training will be provided to qualified nurses.
Patient Care Skills
- Feeding tube care
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator management
- Ongoing assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and skilled nursing care
Trach and ventilator training provided.
What You’ll Do
- As an LVN with Maxim Healthcare, you will:
- Provide individualized nursing care based on the patient’s plan of care
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Perform focused assessments to identify patient needs
- Monitor for changes in the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition
- Collect, analyze, and document relevant patient information
- Communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the healthcare team
- Accurately document nursing care provided
- Assist with feeding tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator-related care
- Perform other LVN duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas
- Current BLS certification
- Current PPD or chest X-ray
- Current health certificate, as required
- One year of LVN experience required
