Job Summary and Qualifications
The Imaging Coordinator for the Cardiovascular Imaging Center (CVIC) is responsible for multi-functional front and back-office duties requiring great skill in prioritization. This position works closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies while also promoting optimal unit operations. The Imaging Coordinator adheres to the customer service standards while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
· Responsible for processing patients upon arrival to the Imaging Center
· Responsible for answering incoming phone calls and scheduling procedures/exams
· Reviews future schedules to validate physician orders, authorization status, insurance verification status, payment indications, H&Ps as required
· Other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
· One year of healthcare admin experience-required
· Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Meditech-highly preferred
· High School Graduate/GED
