As a part-time High-Risk OB Flight Nurse RN for HCA Houston Healthcare Air Life,, you will provide elite, frontline critical care transport for obstetric patients across a 30-county region, operating seamlessly between air and ground transport modalities. Positioned within our specialized maternal transport team, your clinical practice is directly backed by the unmatched infrastructure of The Woman's Hospital of Texas—the region's premier facility dedicated entirely to the care of women and newborns. This specialized flight role is supported by a comprehensive ecosystem designed for complex, high-acuity pregnancies, including an Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) for rapid, unscheduled evaluations, advanced high-risk antepartum suites, and a world-class team of on-site, 24/7 board-certified obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists. Working in tandem with dedicated perinatal navigators and supported by an on-site Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will ensure the highest standard of stabilized, life-saving clinical care for mothers and their unborn children from initial contact until a safe transition of care is achieved.
