Job Summary and Qualifications
- As the Cardiac Cath Lab Office Coordinator, your primary function will be to perform Designated clerical, accounting and admitting services related to the Cardiac Cath Lab
- You will keep attendance records of all departmental meetings and in-service meetings, answer the telephone, forward calls and take messages in a timely and professional manner
- You will schedule outpatient and inpatient procedures, perform all admitting/registration procedures as indicated, follow up with Physician offices for information required for billing and insurance purposes, and maintain records of outpatient registration and ensure that registration is correct and up‑to‑date
- You will greet patients and inform respective department of their arrival, and participate in and attend meetings and in-services as requested
What qualifications you will need:
- High school graduate required
- Hospital-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, computer, and adequate typing/spelling skills preferred
