Job Summary:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an advanced practice provider for a thoracic surgical group practice in Nashville, Tennessee.
Qualified Candidates:- Must be a physician assistant or certified acute care nurse practitioner
- Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain
- Two years’ experience in a supporting thoracic surgery role preferred, but not required
- Must be highly motivated with a desire to work in a high volume, autonomous environment
- Collaborate with thoracic surgeons
- Conduct comprehensive inpatient rounds, provide management of postoperative thoracic surgery patients and conduct new inpatient consults
- Evaluate postop patients in the PACU, communicate with surgical team
- Provide specialized education and care coordination, coordinate transitions of care, including post-discharge follow-up and identifying barriers to recovery
- Local travel to surrounding area HCA TriStar facilities
- Schedule: M-F, full-time
- Shared weekday phone call
