At Clean Harbors, our mission is to create a safer, cleaner environment through the treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous materials. Our SkillBridge opportunities and full-time roles provide industry trainings and certifications, as well as hands on experience with industry professionals. In this role, employees/participants will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. As a hazardous waste specialist, employees/ participants will learn how to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in accordance with Federal/State/Local regulations and our company policies and procedures. Work includes gaining hands on skills such as; waste stream sampling and profiling, safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, the operation of light and heavy equipment, and other tasks by position. This role may also include leadership trainings.
