Job Summary:
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their growing cardiac team.
Qualified Candidates:
- Provide CVICU rounding and ongoing patient assessment and management for cardiac surgery patients during the night shift; 6:30 pm – 8:00 am; three shifts weekly.
- Complete thorough patient handoffs to enable true 24/7 care of cardiac surgery patients; participate in morning rounds with surgeon and critical care team.
- Perform OR arrival handoffs for open-heart patients and write/initiate post-operative orders.
- Evaluate deteriorating patients (CVSD evaluation) and respond promptly to clinical concerns.
- Ability to work independently overnight while collaborating effectively with surgeons, critical care teams, nursing staff, and hospital operations.
- Demonstrated cardiac surgery / CVICU experience; 2 years preferred.
