Job Summary and Qualifications
The Telemetry Tech is responsible for monitoring, interpreting and reporting data from telemetry monitored patients. In addition, the Telemetry Tech must recognize rhythms with the potential to alter the patient’s physiology and is responsible for promptly notifying licensed staff with pattern changes per policies and procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
- Completion of medical terminology course preferred
- Completion of recognized cardiac rhythm interpretation course preferred
- BLS Certification from HCA approved vendor
- National Telemetry Association Certification preferred
- 6+ months Telemetry Tech experience preferred
- 6+ months hospital experience preferred
