Job Summary and Qualifications
The director is the college’s senior subject matter expert who provides oversight, direction, and support of simulation experiences in collaboration with faculty to ensure quality and continuity in the achievement of student learning outcomes for the BSN degree program.
Responsibilities
Conduct the orientation, training, and ongoing professional development in the use of simulation in nursing education according to International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) standards of best practice.
What qualifications you will need:
- (CHSE) Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years health professional educator experience that includes the use of simulation.
