Job Summary and Qualifications
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cook to join our healthcare team. Your primary role is to prepare food, following planned menus and standardized recipes. You will coordinate the activities with other cooks and cafeteria workers. You would be responsible for coordinating and requisitioning production supplies.
In this role you will:
- Assist in meal planning
- Prepare foods to meet standards
- Follow proper food handling techniques
- Follows recipes and production instructions
- Meets all time deadlines and assures that foods are not prepared too far in advance
- Assures taste tests are done with each meal and follows up with any problems
- Communicates to management
- Actively participates and contributes throughout the day
Job Requirements:
- High School or equivalency required
- 1 year of applicable experience preferred
