DJBOSS/JOC : Lead Electrician

Electrician Lead is responsible for supervising a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Hands-on electrical work with leadership, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to code.Lead and manage a team of electricians in various electrical projects.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines. Provide mentorship, training, and technical support to team members.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, lighting, electrical panels and controls.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure all systems are working safely and efficiently.
Perform or supervise the repair and replacement of faulty wiring or equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex electrical systems.
Stay updated on new electrical technologies and industry best practices.
Work closely with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure electrical work is integrated smoothly into larger projects.
Create material lists, order supplies, and ensure tools and equipment are available on-site.
Track job progress, maintain schedules, and ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or heights.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and sometimes in hazardous environments.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Conduct regular safety checks and enforce proper safety procedures among team members.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, and repairs.
Offer recommendations for upgrades or improvements to electrical systems.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering quality service and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Formal apprenticeship or trade school training in electrical systems.
