Title:
Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) Analyst
Kord Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of KBR, is currently seeking a skilled Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) Engineer/Analyst to support and standardize the V&V process for threat M&S across traditional, space, and AI-enabled systems. The ideal candidate will play a role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of models and simulations used in operational test and evaluation (OT&E) within the defense sector. The ideal candidate will possess 2-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate proficiency in M&S technique, a will be proficient in or have a understanding of and will quickly gain proficiency in VV&A processes
Key Responsibilities:
- TM&S V&V Documentation Support:
- Develop and implement standardized V&V procedures and documentation.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive lexicon for V&V processes.
- Ensure consistency and repeatability in V&V documentation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement V&V plans, procedures, and strategies.
- TM&S V&VA and Certification Support:
- Conduct or support V&V of threat models and simulations to ensure they meet specified requirements and specifications and accurately represent real-world conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including threat intelligence analysts, system engineers, and OT&E personnel, to gather requirements and ensure comprehensive V&V processes are exercised and documented.
- Review and analyze technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans, for clarity and completeness.
- Participate in risk management activities, identifying potential issues and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Utilize M&S tools to support system analysis and V&V efforts.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with team members and stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment on V&V activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of V&V processes and results, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- Support the continuous improvement of V&V processes and methodologies within the organization.
- Document and support the OT&E accreditation process of Threat M&S Models that have completed V&V.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in M&S, V&V, systems engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in M&S tools or programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C++, Simulink, Cameo, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
Desired:
- Experience with space or AI-enabled systems.
- Knowledge of defense threat intelligence and operational testing
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles and practices.

- Experience with accreditation processes for models and simulations.
- Familiarity with test and evaluation processes
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
