Systems Analyst

KBR is seeking a highly motivated candidate as a Systems Analyst (SA) with JTDI program knowledge conducting software regression and government acceptance testing. This work will involve supporting the program’s Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) product, the Joint Delivery Management System (JDMS) application. The SA will be part of a team responsible for the sustainment of JDMS and the delivery of technical and maintenance data for NAVAIR aviation Mission Partners across Non-classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) and Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The SA will provide direct support to the customer and must be customer focused in support of our warfighter mission. The SA must have broad experience of IT systems including but not limited to Windows Server 2012 and beyond, Linux and containerization, Amazon Workspaces, as well as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning and vulnerability mitigation. The SA will review test cases and prepare the test environment according to the specifications including mitigating vulnerabilities found within Nessus. The SA will be required to conduct regression and government acceptance testing within the Government Acceptance Test Environment (GATE) under direct supervision from the customer. At the end of each test event, the SA will be responsible for compiling all required test artifacts and completing a test report within 5 business days of the conclusion of the test plan. The SA may also be required to perform IT troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for issues that arise during testing. The SA may also be expected to perform other duties as required by the customer.
- Analyze JDMS use cases and requirements. Understand and administer test plans and test descriptions. Set up and configure test environments in Amazon Workspaces (AWS) GovCloud. Conduct government acceptance testing and regression testing in the Government Acceptance Test Environment (GATE). Support JDMS software demonstrations. Complete ACAS security and vulnerability scans. Mitigate vulnerabilities found in Nessus vulnerability scanner. Application of software updates and fixes (i.e., Windows KBs, etc.).
- Knowledge of Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Understanding of basic networking, ports, and protocols. Ability to manage Windows and OS user accounts. Detect and troubleshoot JDMS and other software/hardware issues and inconsistencies. Provide daily Test Event status situational report (SITREP) and other documentation artifacts to contractor team lead or Project lead. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
Certifications: CompTIA Security+ certification.
Education & Experience (Substitution Options):
- BS in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree from a US-accredited college or institution, and 0-2 years of experience
- OR AA/AS US accredited college or institution and 4+ years of experience
- OR High School Diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current support on the JTDI program.
- Additional certifications that meet DoD-approved 8570 baseline certifications are a plus. Particularly within the following levels: IAT Level I, IAT Level II, CSSP Analyst, CSSP Incident Responder.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems (OS),. Any operating system certification is a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell and Linux Shell Scripting, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
- Some knowledge of Containerization using OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Some knowledge Java Runtime Environment (JRE) & Microsoft .NET framework. Working knowledge of Amazon Workspaces (AWS) cloud environment. Working knowledge with Microsoft Server 2016, 2019 and 2022. Working knowledge with Microsoft IIS web services.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
