What does a successful Marketing Director do at Fiserv?
You will help define, execute and manage the business unit’s go-to-market strategies and directly lead the supporting Marketing program for Fiserv GBS Canada. GBS Canada goes to market under the Clover brand for small and medium sized business (SMB) opportunities and primarily under the Fiserv brand for larger pursuits. You will manage a team of 3 to 5 direct reports. You will be involved in full-funnel marketing strategies, sales enablement and cross-functional coordination.
What you will do:
Create and advance the development and implementation of direct channel marketing campaigns through customized strategies focused on lead generation via paid ads
Develop and maintain a marketing strategy for social media to increase online engagement and generate sales/leads
Monitor marketing budget, with specific attention to the effectiveness and impact of current marketing campaigns and strategies
Monitor marketing metrics for all campaigns; compile analytics and insights
Identify new strategies, methods and tactics to execute marketing goals
Communicate and negotiate with ad agencies, marketing staff, and product marketers
Address problems and troubleshoot campaigns
Analyze customer feedback and campaign performance
What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or similar discipline
8+ years experience as a marketing leader, ideally with considerable experience in B2B marketing
8+ years lead generation or B2b marketing strategy for social media experience
Strong project management experience
Background in marketing productivity tools and all social media platforms with a strong ability to engage viewers and followers, leverage monitoring tools for insights
What will be great to have:
Familiarity with relevant Canadian guidelines and legislation e.g. PIPEDA
Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, landing page optimization
Demonstrated working knowledge of traffic and conversion campaigns through social media platforms
