What does a successful Data Privacy Officer do?
Reporting directly to the EMEA Data Protection Officer, the position is to serve as a key member of the Privacy team focusing on Poland, but supporting the company’s operations globally, with appropriate Privacy guidance. You will support Privacy enquiries and will be responsible for executing upon the Global Privacy Program, as well as supporting the Privacy team in respect of global initiatives.
What you will do:
• Undertake risk assessments in all aspects of Fiserv's businesses to identify key areas of risk, and to prioritize activities accordingly;
• Act as key stakeholder in support of the central incident management team and oversee and supervise Fiserv’s internal and external data processing activities as well as contribute to horizon-scanning activities to ensure readiness for upcoming changes in laws and regulations;
• Keep up-to-date and ensure continuing implementation of Fiserv’s data protection policy and related policies and processes, internally and in relation to third party processors;
• Advise internal teams on compliance with data protection legislation and requirements and provide assistance and coordination in respect of Fiserv’s approach to data subjects’ rights (e.g.: subject access requests; data erasure or rectification requests);
• Monitor and pro-actively address any issues, potential issues or risks arising in relation to the protection of personal data;
• Lead Fiserv on its “data protection by default” and “data protection by design” strategies;
• Support the marketing team in deploying a compliant direct marketing strategy and create and deliver internal awareness campaigns at a global and local level.
What you will need to have:
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in a role related to compliance/privacy/data protection;
- Higher education;
- Analytical skills along with the ability to focus on details;
- Excellent communication and team work skills, along with ability to work effectively in global structures;
- Fluent knowledge of English and Polish.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in working with AIPPI standards will be added value;
- Knowledge of payments industry preferred.
