The Plumbing Assistant performs a wide variety of plumbing tasks, including inspection, upkeep and repair.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• One (1) year of experience in the plumbing field required
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• Must possess journeyman electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
Preferred Qualifications: • Three (3) years of experience in the plumbing field is preferred
Responsibilities: • Safely use hand and power tools to perform repairs, installations and maintenance according to building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians and other construction professionals
• Follow building plans and blueprints
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies as directed by the plumber or foreperson
• Performs routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
• Keep accurate records of work orders, detailed work progress, labor and materials
