About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motived skilled leader in Liquidity Management within Corporate Treasury. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Liquidity reporting concepts, experience working with complex data and solving complex data issues. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the FR 2052a reporting requirements, downstream users of that report, and downstream use cases of that report.
In this role, you will:- Analyze our 2052a reporting environment and suggest new data profiling routines and controls
- Develop an understanding of the company's conformance to the 2052a reporting requirements and develop tools to facilitate ongoing review of the integrity of our conformance
- Use modern tools to develop Liquidity reporting dashboards and Liquidity data health check dash boards for senior leadership
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluating of global market conditions, funding, asset and liability management, liquidity risk management, capital management, financial performance management, capital, and related activities
- Advise on critical treasury finance and risk strategies
- Lead all management aspects of a critical treasury finance function
- Ensure deliverables are completed and that they comply with various treasury risk management regulatory requirements
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Make recommendations to management regarding efficiencies to be gained, strategic direction and restructuring
- Provide technical interpretation on various matters and present best practices
- Recommend compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- Implement key risk initiatives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Deep knowledge of 2052a reporting concepts
- Complete understanding of the LCR rule and how 2052a data is mapped to the LCR
- Complete understanding of the NSFR rule and how 2052a data is mapped to the NSFR
- Advanced data analytics skills
- Experience in using modern business tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) for creating workflows, dashboards, and data retrieval tools
- Leadership experience including coaching, training and mentoring
- 2+ years in a Data Manage role
- 2+ years 1st or 2nd line Liquidity experience
- Experience assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures and processes (includes compliance and operational controls within a large complex organization)
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to a broad range of audiences
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury function, including Liquidity, ALM, Funding, and Capital planning
- Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projects
- Experience with regulatory requirements surrounding the management of model risk, interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital
- Ability to work in a team-based environment, prioritize tasks, learn quickly, provide superior customer service, and take on new challenges
