We are seeking an individual with great mechanical ability to work on helicopter components to ensure the highest standards in our manufacturing and aerospace operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.
• Must be able to overhaul and repair all dynamic components including Landing gear components, experience with applicable tool control and metrology requirements.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Adhere to EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
• Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others
• Perform duties as assigned by Shop Lead Person
• Have to ability to learn and comprehend new products as assigned. This is safety sensitive job subject to FAA and DOT drug testing requirements

successful candidate must be able to:
-Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.
-Must be able to overhaul and repair all dynamic components including Landing gear components, experience with applicable tool control and metrology requirements .
Skills: Strong use of common hand tools, torque wrenches, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Knowledge: Basic computer skills, and ability to work in with a small group.
Education: High School Diploma, Trade school is a plus
Requirement: This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.
Desired Skills:Must have S76 main gear box overhaul experience, metrology and tool control experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
