Document Management Specialist
KBR’s Defense Systems Engineering Division is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document Management Specialist/Administrative Assistant to join our team part-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Scientific Technical Information (STI) documents as part of the JTDI program’s contract deliverable requirements. This role will require the chosen applicant to track due dates and maintain the schedule for required documentation to ensure contract compliance. This role requires a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to handle sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage Scientific Technical Information (STI) documents. Ensure all contract deliverable requirements (CDRLs) are completed accurately and on time. Maintain and organize electronic and physical files. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents. Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Requires candidate to possess excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication skills, both written and verbal as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic Qualifications:
Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Education & Experience: High School Diploma and 4 years of experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in Adobe to create and edit PDF documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Experience with analyzing reports to determine gaps and establishing plans for remediation.
- Familiarity with contract deliverables and government documentation processes.
This position offers a remote/flexible workplace setting.
Compensation: $56,000-72,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
