Summary of Position
JobsOhio seeks an experienced, creative individual with a natural flare for building and maintaining client relationships in a consultative environment. The Account Manager, Client Talent Delivery supports the Talent Acquisition Services Team in the activities involved in executing talent acquisition services for a variety of business clients across JobsOhio’s targeted industries and occupations. The role is primarily focused on talent acquisition strategy development through execution of services within the strategy with their assigned clients.
The JobsOhio Talent Acquisition Services team is responsible to work with select few Project* Clients. Talent Acquisition Services are a full suite of talent services from recruitment marketing, attracting talent, sourcing, screening, and training programs customized for each Client. Our team works collaboratively across functional areas within the organization, workforce partners, subcontracted talent resources, and our Clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the team, the Account Manager, Client Talent Delivery, is responsible to actively build, manage and maintain Client relationships specific to talent acquisition services from strategy design, to ensuring execution of the pre-developed talent plan in coordination with the Client, JobsOhio project delivery team, and key internal and external stakeholders.
Teammate
- Active engagement as team member (Project, Sector and Talent teams) related to talent resource partners, Client advising, Project vetting and structuring services all the way through delivering the customized talent services
- Build collaborative environment and serve as primary liaison among internal cross-functional teams, external vendor subcontractors, community partners and Clients, ensuring timely and successful delivery of services.
- Lead onboarding for new team members (internal and network partners)
- Manage regional talent and project partner relationships
- Engage in internal Talent Acquisition Services conversations related to overall strategy, continuous improvement, procedures, policies, and delivery methods
- Internal program management and oversight of Talent team members associated with individual Talent Programs
- Customized Talent Services –Key participant in building each Client’s customized Talent Acquisition Services plan, including Project budgeting and scoping
- Vet Client’s unique needs, market, competition, processes etc. related to Talent Acquisition and work with team to develop tailored approach to solving these needs
- Lead participant in Client Plan Presentation meeting where Client needs are validated, this role is responsible to collaborate with team to build the tailored Client Talent Acquisition Plan
- Responsible to coordinate Client’s Project timeline with Talent Acquisition Services timeline at high Project level as well as for each deliverable, ensuring entire plan fits within reasonable timeframe
- Lead participant in Client Close Out meeting where Client provides feedback on how the services and deliverables performed/impacted their organization
- Pitch Talent Program to both internal and external stakeholders at regularly scheduled project meetings
- Apply knowledge and understanding of Ohio’s workforce system and educational landscape.
- Build and deliver presentations using PowerPoint and other business tools
- Responsible and accountable for the overall success of Talent Services program.
- Responsible for continuous self-professional development and learnings to stay abreast on the latest talent acquisition, human resources and hiring trends; staying relevant as a talent subject matter expert.
Contract Management
- Create Talent Acquisition Service Service and Deliverables within Agreements defining the solutions that will be provided to a Client by JobsOhio through Subcontractors in alignment with the Talent Acquisition Service Plan
- Create Statements of Work pertaining to contracted vendors supporting each talent project in alignment with the Talent Acquisition Service Plan
- Responsible for management of vendor negotiations on both services and budget
- Create and manage the budget of each overall contract tied to a specific Talent Program
- Responsible for management and oversight of contract lifecycle, from initial draft to execution, to monitoring of end and renewal dates
Client Management
- Be a strategic advisor to assigned portfolio of Clients related to talent acquisition (recruiting, marketing, screening, assessing, training) taking a consultative approach
- Effectively set and manage expectations with the Client; manage timelines and objectives assuring successful results for each Project
- Lead frequent communication with assigned Clients working closely with subcontractors and Talent team, this will require keeping up-to-date with Client service measurables, progress to date on delivery of services, and identifying potential issues
- Ensure Talent Team and subcontractors are coordinated and have clarity on expected delivery including timelines and communication from Talent team and subcontractor related to execution of deliverables for Client
- Able to effectively manage Client during delivery of services, identify issues and assess possible solutions, recommend such alternative solution to team; managing any Amendment required to services
- Handle complex problems and effectively communicate issues internally to stakeholders for proper escalation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client’s Talent team and liaison for Talent Acquisition Team and subcontractors
- Lead reoccurring, bi-weekly, status calls with Clients to ensure proper delivery of Talent Acquisition Services (includes scheduling call, creation of agenda, engaging with internal stakeholders on updates, provide updates/deliverables of project tactics and identify/resolve any issues that may affect project timeline
- Lead vendor meetings with internal teams and Clients, virtually and onsite
- Facilitate meetings with C-Level Executives, external stakeholders, and various entities regarding Client and Project work
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of business experience preferred
- Knowledge related to current employment practices, talent attraction and retention, training and skilling resources and programs
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Exhibits a history for maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Able to travel (state-wide and some out-of-state, possibility of overnights) for project work, Client meetings and events, partner visits, and related activities.
- 2+ years of Account Management, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Workforce, or Project Management preferred
- Ability to effectively draft and execute Client agreements and statements of work
- Ability and proven track record of establishing strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to engage in Client sales, strategy, and delivery calls and presentations with exceptional business acumen
