What does a successful Issuer Sales Executive do at Fiserv?
The Issuer sales team supports our largest financial institutions with all their issuing needs. These clients are consistently pushing the innovation margins to differentiate themselves from their competitors and we’re looking for savvy sales professionals to enable them with Fiserv solutions. In this role, you will focus on prospecting and closing new issuer debit and credit card processing opportunities.
What you will do:
- Identify and prospect potential opportunities through market research and competitor analysis
- Proactively reach out to potential clients to generate leads and schedule sales meetings
- Present and demonstrate our products and services to potential clients to potential clients to highlight the benefits and value proposition that Fiserv offers
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of card manufacturing processes and financial service needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to ensure a positive partnership for both the client and Fiserv
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and client communications
- Develop and nurture robust client relationships, serving as the primary liaison for card manufacturing companies.
What you will need to have:
- Must live or willing to relocate to work in office at one of our locations: Omaha, NE, Berkeley Heights, NJ, Alpharetta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Shoreview, MN, Chesapeake, VA, or Nashville, TN
- 5+ years successful sales experience in the card manufacturing industry
- Experience in effectively interacting with all levels of clients including executive level management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and military service
- Ability to travel 60%
What would be great to have:
- Experience prospecting and closing net new sales both Plastics manufacturing and Personalization markets.
- Familiarity with Fiserv issuer solutions, including the Optis platform and Card Services platforms
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead of the game
- Experience in using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and track progress
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
