Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a Training and Operations Support Team Member who will be responsible for representing Space Domain Control & Characterization System (SDCCS) at the National Space Defense Center (NSDC). The position’s roles and function would include acting as the SDCCS operational subject matter expert in support of NSDC training, products, visualizations, and briefings and providing SDCCS troubleshooting and incident resolution for NSDC operations; performing SDCCS authoring and customizations for NDSC operational needs including providing real time configuration changes as well as enhancing exercise and mission rehearsal planning, execution, and after action reporting for SDCCS related activities; and representing SDCCS in internal and external operational integration meetings. Applicants must be self-motivated, team-oriented, able to adapt to dynamic environments, and work with personnel from other organizations and companies.
- Assist the USG with planning, coordination, briefing and execution of support for space defense training and exercises.
- Attend coordination and planning meetings and conduct review of desired learning objectives and participant supporting capabilities.
- Plan and execute SDCCS 100 training sessions for NSDC and other SDCCS operators.
- Coordinate with JTF-SD directorates and supporting organizations during planning and execution.
- Monitor proper use and function of training aids, devices, simulators and simulations (TADSS).
- Ensure that local training regulations and applicable safety standards are followed by training unit.
Work Environment:
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO, with significant presence at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB)
- Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
- Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of exercise support and/or space operations experience
- Support NSDC exercise, experiment, and training programs as assigned.
- Familiarity with military operations, personnel, regulations, and organizations.
- Experience with managing/developing personnel through formal and informal training programs.
- Experience leading diverse teams and personnel of varying experience levels and skill sets.
- Ability to operate independently and manage team elements to meet contract requirements.
- Active Top Secret clearance and SAP clearable
- Bachelors Degree in STEM area highly desired. Associates Degree considered. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Software Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation:
$125-$140k
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
- KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
