Configuration Manager, Junior
Key Role:
Administer support services for a project or program and maintain project information for project managers and directors. Provide Configuration Management (CM) support to the team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex DoD systems. Monitor change processes to ensure updates to Technical Data Packages are implemented promptly. Implement CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards. Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) on systems before establishing a product baseline, maintain drawings and Configuration Item data in the CM database tool, and update drawing package changes, as required. Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data before the CCB, facilitating the CCB agenda during the meeting, and generating meeting minutes for CCBs. Ensure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems and prepare CSA reports, as required, track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes, and support the establishment and maintenance of production baselines.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of CM practices
Ability to display expertise in learning CM to promote the advancement of the programs supported
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience working in a professional environment
Additional Qualifications:
Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex C4I systems
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,700.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
