The Opportunity:
KBR is currently undertaking Expression of Interest applications for a Maintenance Lead for various Maritime Programs in our Capability Sustainment and Modernisation operational unit.
You will be responsible for providing senior leadership and direction across the program of works Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Support, and Optimisation functional groups.
The Maintenance Lead will drive continuous improvement and performance analysis across the program and will have sound understanding of the ISO 55001 Standard.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:
- Responsible for the provision of Asset Sustainment and Management Services
- Facilitating Sustainment Stewardship across the programs body of work
- Responsible for all administration actions necessary to ensure the correct technical recording and reporting processes have been followed in accordance with the approved Maintenance Management Plan (MMP)
- Ensure that maintenance documentation and technical data for the products being supported are reviewed and updated in accordance with the approved MMP.
- Facilitate Maintenance Planning Conferences to review current and forecasted Work Packages in line with performance periods
- Maintain familiarity with asset/platforms configuration and their documented baselines
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent experience couples with relevant qualifications
- Experience in undertaking and managing designs in Defence or related technical industry (CASG/Defence/Defence Industry)
- In-depth expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the engineering / maintenance realm
- Demonstrated experience as a manager/lead across maritime sustainment organisations in Engineering Change, Maintenance and Supply Support delivery activities, and financial/budget controls
- Project management qualifications/experience desired
- The ability to gain and maintain a NV-1 minimum Australian Government Security Clearance
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
