Description of Duties:
The Contracts Documentation Specialist supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Maintain the document database to track and report data, customer acceptance criteria, and deliverable timeliness, and assists with the database maintenance to track the creation, revision, and archival of IRES technical and process documents.
- Enforce document standards.
- Review contractual documents to ensure contractual data requirements are met.
- Maintain the master repository for IRES documents and records, including data storage, safekeeping, cataloging, and retrieval.
- Ensure documents remain legible and readily identifiable, for classified delivery, enforces appropriate handling, submittal, and storage.
- Coordinate, track, deliver, and report contract deliverable documentation.
- Deliver documents and records for review and approval in the appropriate media as defined in the contract.
- Notify stakeholders of document updates, deliveries, and web site updates.
- Enter data items into official repositories.
- Ensure deliverable/non-deliverable documents/media are logged, cataloged, and stored and are legible and readily identifiable.
- Support the collection of data for input into IRES document metrics.
- Maintain vital data in accordance with retention policies.
- Be given additional duties include maintaining document and data formats and standards, ensuring quality control of documentation, maintaining active and archived program documentation and correspondence files.

- Be able to work with a team and work independently, when needed.
- Be organized and attentive to details.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.
- Must have 4 years directly related experience in one of the following areas: Business Documentation management or Contract Documentation management.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Must have, or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Requirements:
- Prior experience in Government Contracting is preferred, but not required.
This position is expected to pay $58,500 – $83,500 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
