Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
As a Fuel Distribution Systems Foreman, you will oversee workers and monitor and maintain the amount of fuel in the tanks of a fuel farm.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform usage calculations, request service times and amounts for tank filling.
- Lead the work of Direct Hire employees and Subcontract Workers.
- Perform daily PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services) of fuel equipment.
- Oversee workers and monitor and maintain the amount of fuel in fuel storage areas.
- Prepare and check receiving or shipping documents.
- Visually inspect samples of fuel for water, sediment, additives, and API.
- Gauge tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels.
- Ensure all fuel accountability procedures are followed.
- Ensure all equipment is filled daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Due to contract requirements, in order to be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S., UK, or EU Passport Holder.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of related experience.
- Must have knowledge of U.S. Army fuel accountability procedures.
- Must have knowledge of U.S. Army fuel regulations.
- Requires personal accountability and self-motivation.
- Requires a Driver’s License and the ability to obtain an international Driver’s License.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Certifications in fuel management or related fields.
- Experience in a Team Lead, Foreman, Supervisory or Management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience using the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
