Job Summary
What You'll Do: As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, building strong candidate pipelines, and fostering relationships with hiring managers and external partners. Your efforts will be critical in identifying and onboarding top talent to meet organizational goals and drive workforce excellence.
This fully remote position requires occasional travel, up to 30 days at a time, to support on-site hiring events, collaboration with stakeholders, and other recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, ensuring the ability to work with sensitive information while demonstrating exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a Recruiting team; develops and implements goals, monitors performance, coaches, and demonstrates commitment to the success of the recruiting team in the achievement of expected outcomes.
- Manage the sourcing and staffing strategies across multiple projects.
- Provide direction, leadership, and talent development within the Recruiting team; sets framework, environment and opportunities for team members to develop their knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Utilize tools and services to support Talent Acquisition’s Guiding Principles, including measurement, coaching, transition and onboarding support, team effectiveness, and advising.
- Identify recruiting sources, assess new talent and develop leading-edge methods to attract diverse talent.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to leverage social media, multiple network sources, online tools, industry relationships, and community involvement to identify top talent and promote the KBR brand.
- Manages vendor and third-party agency relationships, contract renewals, and negotiations to ensure seamless vendor communication, compliance, and achievement of recruiting goals.
- Supports Diversity and Inclusion strategy, data requests, report creation and analyses.

**This role will primarily work remotely but will require travel into the Houston office as needed for training, meetings, and events.**
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant Recruiting, Workforce Planning and/or HR skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a track record of managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to travel for extended periods (up to 30 days at a time) to various locations for recruitment activities.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools and other digital platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting while delivering results within deadlines.
- Experience in building and managing large, high-performing talent acquisition teams, including setting KPI’s, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and deliver on our Global talent acquisition strategy.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience recruiting for positions requiring security clearances or in the defense/government contracting industry.
- Certification in HR or recruitment-related fields, such as PHR, SPHR, or AIRS certifications.
- Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) recruitment strategies.
- Proficiency in developing data-driven recruitment strategies and reporting on hiring metrics.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards.
