THE WORKThis role will perform various work assignments within the RMS Metrology Organization. Will serve as the Lead Quality representative responsible for maintaining laboratory certifications and future ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 accreditations in Moorestown NJ. May potentially support additional RMS laboratories as future requirements arise at management discretion.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage laboratory Quality Assurance program.
Perform tasks such as but not limited to Failure Analysis, Trend Analysis. This role will perform various work assignments within the RMS Metrology Organization. Will serve as the Lead Quality representative responsible for maintaining laboratory certifications in Moorestown NJ.
Assist in the development of calibration procedures and processes
Maintain accurate calibration records and reports in calibration management database.
Assist in planning calibration workloads when inputs are needed.
Ensure equipment calibrations are complete in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
Manage tasks and work with team to meet customer requirements and schedules.
Maintain calibration standards.
Maintain multi-sites Scope of Proficiency
Participate in Metrology/Calibration training courses, stay current on technical advances.
Support customer with timely responses.
Support the team in identifying process improvements.
Site lead for inter-laboratory calibration programs.
May require travel

Basic Qualifications:Experience working in a Quality Assurance or Metrologist role within a Calibration Laboratory.
Experience working within an ISO.IEC accredited Calibration Laboratory.
In depth knowledge of National and International Calibration Standards such as but not limited to: ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1.
Experience in calibration and repair of a broad range of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
Ability to use computer controlled automatic test equipment calibration system.
Experience in the use of computer, Microsoft Office, and instrumentation control utilizing automated calibration software.
Ability to work effectively as part of the Metrology team.
Desired Skills:Experience with:
Using / administering Fluke MET/CAL, IndySoft Calibration Recall database software and developing ISO 17025 compliant calibration automation.
Generating and working with uncertainty budgets.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
