As part of our 21st Century Security vision, Lockheed Martin is investing in advancing multi-mission sensing capabilities. Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-mission aperture & multi-mission processing technologies through research, development, & demonstrations.
Who You Are
Our team is seeking a game-changing Radio Frequency (RF) systems engineering intern to help develop & implement advanced digital signal processing algorithms within high-performance heterogenous compute environments. In this role, you will serve as a Radio Frequency (RF) systems engineer on a product team dedicated to designing, prototyping, & demonstrating multi-function sensing systems.
What You Will Do (The Work)
- Collaborate with teams, prototype, & demonstrate multi-function sensor systems technologies
- Develop systems models, analysis, and tests for sensor systems & subsystems
- Test sensor systems & subsystems in lab and chamber environments

Basic Qualifications:- Pursing Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, or equivalent
- Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics, and problem-solving skills
- Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:- Knowledge of Radar or Electronic Warfare systems and capabilities
- Familiarity with computer architectures and algorithm development for a range of system/subsystem applications
- Strong leadership and team skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
