We are the F-35 Forward Systems Build Team, working full-time on site on the northwest end of Building 4. Our team is responsible for plumbing and wiring the cockpit frame and Nose Landing Gear to ensure that the framework for all essential systems functions seamlessly for the pilot. Our work includes managing hydraulics, polyalphaolefin fluid, oil, fuel, oxygen, and electrical systems, as well as the wiring that powers core processing units.
What You Will Be Doing• Lead Structural Build and Finishing Teams: Supervise a team of mechanics and coaters who complete the forward fuselage structure, including installing skins, conducting operational checks, and applying low observable coatings.
• Drive Communication and Team Alignment: Effectively communicate daily priorities, constraints, and efficiency targets to both your team and upper management.
• Deliver Quality and Efficiency: Ensure that production meets quality standards while staying on schedule and within budget, adding value for the customer by delivering a high-quality, cost-effective product.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
