Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the JASSM Production Team. Our team is responsible for managing key subcontractor relationships to ensure performance and deliveries support the War Fighter.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will be responsible for managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts for DOD programs, ensuring seamless collaboration between our team and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading multifunctional subcontract management teams and holding procurement delegation
• Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services
• Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, and evaluating proposals
• Negotiating subcontract provisions, including price, and administering resulting subcontracts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure subcontractor performance meets program requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
• Experience in a program subcontract management role
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Experience establishing relationships with a supplier and managing continuously improved supplier performance
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
•Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed
•Commitment to be on-site a minimum of 2 days a week
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
• Experience managing multiple complex subcontracts
• Familiarity with LMAPs, SC Navigator, P2P, and SAP
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP
• Working knowledge of standard contract types
• Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, statements of work, and equipment within the defense industry
• Experience working on development and EV contracts
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
