Description:You will be the Inspector Specialist for our Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products, from electronic units and electromechanical assemblies to mechanical units and subsystems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Inspector Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough visual inspections of in-process and completed products to identify defects, flaws, and non-conformities. You will play a critical role in maintaining our high-quality standards and driving continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
-Visually inspecting products, including electronic units, precision electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical units, to identify defects, flaws, and non-conformities
-Using various measuring devices, such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales, to verify product quality
-Accepting, rejecting, or reworking defective or malfunctioning units or systems
-Working from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions to ensure accuracy and quality
-Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures
-Collaborating with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement quality enhancements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Familiarity with production planning/specifications and drawing/blueprint reading.
-Familiarity and use of calibrated inspection equipment.
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain security clearance.
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge and experience with SAP and Defect Documentation
-Inspection experience
-Production experience a plus
-Familiarity with Engineering Drawing
reading/tolerances
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
