The Regional Maintenance Manager (RMM) is a key support role providing subject matter expertise, enterprise-level maintenance capital implementation support, guidance on key maintenance activities, and training for DC maintenance personnel support or operational centers. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of DC Support Services while maintaining an indirect line in support of all maintenance teams. The RMM is responsible for driving Lowe's culture of continuity, efficiency, and store service by ensuring uptime, facility and equipment condition, methods, and training are top of mind for maintenance leaders. In addition, the RMM provides short and long-range network level strategies that ensure a safe and productive distribution environment by tracking, repairing, and replacing assets as well as avoiding obsolescence.

Travel & Work Location Requirements
This role requires frequent travel, with an expected travel range of 50% to 75%. Candidates must be based out of a Lowe’s Distribution Center (DC) location. With over 130+ Lowe’s DC locations nationwide, there is flexibility in selecting a home base, but the position must be anchored at one of these facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates and inspects distribution facilities and equipment for overall condition, potential issues, and safety. Formulates short and long-range plans to remedy any issues.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert in the area of asset management, including maintenance, planning, budgeting, replacement, and disposal of facility assets.
- Oversees training of facility Maintenance Managers and Mechanics
- Represents a location, region, and or network in planning and strategy discussions as well as lead the resulting rollouts and implementations of planned Run-the-Business capital investments.
- Leads cross functional discussions and projects with Engineering, ESS, Construction, Facilities Maintenance, Safety, and others.
- Oversees short- and long-range planning and execution of capital purchases, repairs, and disposals.
- Builds, organizes, recruits, hires, trains, engages, and leads a highly competent team championing professional growth and development
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering, Maintenance, Construction, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Technical Trades and 7-10 years of experience in skilled trades, facilities maintenance, mechanized MHE operation and maintenance, and/or rolling stock maintenance
- In lieu of education, at least 10 years of experience in skilled trades, facilities maintenance, mechanized MHE operation and maintenance, and/or rolling stock maintenance
