What does a successful Senior Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv?
You will helm high-priority projects and their component phases within larger application development programs. Your accountability extends to delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. You will lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, and sometimes cross-company teams responsible for all project aspects, from initiation to closure.
What you will do:
- Follow project methodologies, delivery processes, and implementation management processes.
- Handle project budgets by understanding and validating estimates, tracking cost variance, and managing resources effectively.
- Provide updates on Project/Program status, including weekly Mission Critical Program Updates and Clarity Reporting.
- Facilitate and manage project communications and stakeholder expectations.
- Report on KPIs related to pipeline and execution portfolios, financials, and performance measures.
- Support backlog and capacity management by managing the new project flow into development and create and maintain Initiative, and Epic in Jira.
- Create and maintain project and capacity forecasting, including allocations and variance (IRC).
- Maintain the PPM tool (Clarity), JIRA Management and publish appropriate reports to enhance transparency in prioritization discussions.
What you will need to have:
- 5 to 7 years of progressive technology project management experience, including managing major application development projects in a large operating environment.
- 5+ years of experience delivering projects within budget and specified time limits while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- 5+ years of utilizing Agile Methodology.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent military experience.

- Experience handling multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to identify project interdependencies and develop contingency and action plans.
