What does a successful Project Specialist do?
The Client Implementation Project Specialist at Fiserv plays an essential role in delivering our debit product solutions to our valued clients. This position requires partnering with multiple teams within the organization and external clients, spearheading key activities to ensure the installation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary project contact for clients and internal groups.
- Guide projects from original concept through final implementation, collaborating with internal resources and external customers.
- Provide continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and related task lists as necessary and update plans accordingly.
- Work with clients to determine parameter settings and key parameters into proprietary databases.
- Manage multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion meets client requirements.
- Develop and maintain professional client relationships and manage expectations regarding live dates and other key timelines.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation and procedures identified throughout the project relating to new product/feature functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers and project teams to ensure internal project audit points are managed and tracked.
- Develop and maintain consistent standards for project status reporting for internal and external purposes.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
What you will need to have:
- 2+ years of experience in project management.
- 2+ years of experience in client services/relationships management.
- 2+ years of experience using MS-Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, OneNote, and SharePoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 2+ years of experience managing implementation tasks and ensuring project completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of clients and internal staff.
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Understanding of Digital Channels, online/mobile banking, and Electronic Payment products.
