This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview:
Our team is responsible for supporting network project managers in Washington and Oregon, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). We focus on developing tools, maps, and resources to streamline our processes and improve efficiency. Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about innovation and excellence. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced project managers and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our organization’s overall goals.
Role Description
We are seeking a creative and innovative summer intern to support our network project managers who oversee all NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) work in Washington and Oregon for Comcast. The ideal candidate will help us develop tools, maps, and resources to streamline our processes and procedures. We are looking for someone who thinks outside the box and is willing to try new things.
Responsibilities:
- Assist network project managers with NESC-related tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement tools and resources to improve efficiency.
- Create maps and other visual aids to support project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., GIS, CAD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Creative mindset and willingness to experiment with new ideas.

- Develop and implement tools to automate data collection and analysis for NESC compliance.
- Create interactive maps and visual aids to support project planning and execution.
- Design and test new processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2026)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
