Description:We are Lockheed MartinLockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr (Level 3) to support the Fabrication Division in Marietta, GA. This role combines fabrication expertise and data analysis skills to provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to enhance schedule efficiency, capacity planning, quality control, and cost management. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr, you will:
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for aircraft welding operations, including metal layout, trimming, fitting, and setup of tubular and sheet metal parts.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving related to fabrication processes, identifying and implementing corrective actions.
• Support Quick-Turn, Sub-Assembly, and Tooling manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve production processes, cost management, and schedule adherence.
• Ensure compliance with welding standards and procedures while optimizing fabrication techniques.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in fabrication and assembly operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and streamline operations.
• Assist in the training and development of team members to enhance technical proficiency in welding and fabrication.

• Metal Parts Machining experience
• Structural Assembly experience
• MS Office Suite Experience
Desired Skills:• 5+ years fabrication experience and a diverse knowledge of fabrication processes with emphasis placed on aircraft metal fabrication and structural assembly.
• 6+ years of experience in Shop Floor Manager (SFM), SAP and production scheduling.
• Proven track record of developing innovative solutions to manufacturing problems.
• Project Tooling Knowledge
• An independent, self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
