What does a successful Manager Operations do at Fiserv? At Fiserv, a successful Manger of Operations is key to ensuring that our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive and motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced environment. You will lead a team of 10 to 20 employees, developing and implementing strategies that align with Fiserv's vision, mission, and long-term strategic plans. This involves driving process improvements, ensuring top-quality standards, and maintaining a safety-conscious work environment.
What you will do:
- Supervise, direct, and monitor daily operations of all employees.
- Take ownership of day-to-day people management, including performance evaluations, onboarding, and corrective action plans.
- Discipline and counsel employees for unwanted behaviors, including documentation of performance.
- Ensure employees adhere to company workplace safety and work policies.
- Communicate effectively with management on key issues across all functions.
- Continuously review work processes to ensure procedures are followed and work is performed correctly.
- Set goals and develop strategies to achieve those goals.
- Identify and oversee the completion of key projects.
- Mentor, train, and develop teammates for career progression and learning.
What you will need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in a production, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- 7+ years of previous supervisory/managerial experience.
- 7+ years of management experience in a deployment/manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma, and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience leading and implementing process improvement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Management.
- Proven skills in measuring effectiveness and quality management.
- Hands-on electronics repair experience.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
