What does a successful Senior Automations Analyst do at Fiserv?
As a Senior Automations Analyst, you will leverage on analytical expertise to evaluate and implement automations that boost efficiency, accuracy, and reporting for financial systems while also serving as a technical resource to settlement analysts, aiding in data analysis and automation support. In this role, you will lead the analysis of business processes and look for areas of opportunity for automation, in addition to maintenance and troubleshooting when issues occur. An individual in this role is expected to work independently, advise on best practices, and make strategic decisions to actively shape the direction of automation initiatives.
What you will do:
- Development and design of new automations written in Visual Basic for Application (VBA).
- Expansion and enhancement of current automations.
- Maintain production readiness to ensure business process efficiency.
- Partner with department SMEs and process owners to understand data requirements for process optimization.
- Conduct spontaneous and targeted data analysis.
- Serve as a liaison between department Subject Matter Expert (SMEs), IT, and internal leadership on behalf of our end-users, as well as for incident response and risk mitigation.
- Advise on best practices for automation development in relation to end user computing, ensuring compatibility with existing software and adherence to controls and regulations.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years experience in Microsoft VBA and/or Visual Basic
- 1+ years experience in Power Automate
- 5+ years experience in a combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- SQL experience
