What does a successful Key Manager/HSM Engineer do?
As part of the Cryptographic & Key Management Services team at Fiserv, you will be the key manager responsible for providing cryptographic services. A Key Manager works collaboratively with Key Custodians and system support staff to facilitate the secure handling of specifically controlled data required for payment processing.
Your role will also include engineering and management of HSM devices of various types and vendors with plenty of opportunities to learn and acquire new skills
What you will do
- Collaborate with a variety of business and technical support teams to identify cryptographic key support needs.
- Maintain operational standards and procedures for cryptographic key management and security and proactively evaluate optimization opportunities to improve the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of services provided.
- Deploy and manage hardware security modules (HSMs)
- Perform code reviews for vulnerabilities and adherence to requirements
What would be great to have
- Python skills / Web front end development
- Understanding of cryptographic algorithms and implementations
- Experience applying requirements of regulatory compliance controls, such as PCI, SOX, GDPR, etc.
