As a Product Strategy Manager focused on debit network risk mitigation at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in driving the deployment and commercialization tasks for Fiserv’s debit payment networks (STAR, Accel, and MoneyPass) to minimize fraud while improving authorization rates, leverage your deep understanding of fraud trends in the payments industry to enhance our debit networks, differentiate us in the market, and be a network fraud SME for clients, sales, and other internal teams. You will leverage market research, product metrics, and customer feedback to support the introduction of new features and optimize product success. Collaborating closely with technology teams, you will be responsible for building new products and enhancing existing ones, ensuring that product requirements are refined, user experience stories are crafted, testing is overseen, and production validation is approved. Additionally, you will partner with sales and business development teams to pursue new prospects and deals, ultimately increasing volume and maintaining important relationships with Financial Institutions, Acquirers, and Processors. Your role will also involve creating product collateral, defining features, and emphasizing the value proposition to promote new products and managing external vendors.
What You Will Do:
- This role is focused on understanding risk trends in the payments industry and applying this knowledge to enhance our network services to minimize network fraud while improving our authorization rates.
- Drive product deployment and commercialization tasks for Fiserv’s debit payment networks as it relates to fraud.
- Utilize market research, product metrics, and customer feedback to support new features and optimize product success
- Work closely with technology teams to build new products and enhance existing ones
- Partner with sales and business development teams on new prospects and deals
- Create product collateral and define features to promote new products
- Build data analysis on our network fraud trends and create client dashboards to clearly present the client’s fraud trends
- Work closely with our risk team and vendors to enhance our existing risk tools
- Develop long-term product plan and manage product roadmap as it pertains to fraud mitigation initiatives
- Collaborate with Network pricing and sales teams to develop incentives for product adoption
What You Will Need To Have:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in risk management (preferably in the payments space)
- Experience with risk tools/services
- Proven experience in product deployment and commercialization
- Strong skills in market research, product metrics analysis, and customer feedback utilization
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in creating product collateral and defining features
- Proficiency in monitoring product penetration and usage trends
