Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
The Electrician position plays a critical role in supporting daily operations across infrastructure and facilities projects. Working under direct supervision, the role involves interpreting technical instructions, coordinating the movement of materials and equipment, and ensuring work sites are properly prepared and maintained. Responsibilities include tool and equipment upkeep, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Receive daily assignments and direction from the Electrical Journeyman or General Foreman, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
Interpret technical documentation and instructions to plan and execute electrical tasks efficiently and accurately.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to verify compliance with British Standard and NEC code requirements across electrical distribution systems.
Install, maintain, repair, and replace a wide range of electrical equipment and support systems to facilitate plant construction and ongoing maintenance operations.
Perform detailed inspections of electrical systems, document findings, and submit reports in the prescribed format.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure job sites are clean and organized through routine housekeeping activities.
Operate power and hand tools safely and effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments, including confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment, to maintain a safe work environment.
Respond to time-sensitive tasks with efficiency and professionalism, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure.
Carry out additional duties as instructed to support overall project goals and team operations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrical role.
Host country further education diploma / certifications in electrical principles.
Must have a valid vehicle driver’s license and maintain its validity for the duration of employment.
Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
5 years of experience in an electrical role Working knowledge of current British Standard and National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
Prior experience supporting LOGCAP (Logistics Civil Augmentation Program) projects.
Familiarity with international electrical standards and practices in military or contingency environments.
Experience working in multi-national teams or cross-cultural work settings.
