Edelman is a voice synonymous with trust, reimagining a future where the currency of communication is action. Our culture thrives on three promises: boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum.
We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration, and belonging. Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions.
The Media Supervisor should bring a sharp curiosity for news and a deep understanding of how stories move — from headline to homepage, feed to feature — across print, broadcast, digital, and emerging platforms. The role supports the development and execution of earned media strategies, collaborating closely with clients and integrated teams. With hands-on experience pitching outlets and working directly with journalists, editors, and producers, the candidate knows how to find and tell stories that drive meaningful coverage. An instinct for news angles, a pulse on cultural and media trends, and a creative approach to storytelling with AI tools is key — not just to monitor coverage, but to surface insights, patterns, and must-haves. Proficiency with AI tools is a must. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and energized by the pace of modern media. As part of Edelman’s global network, the candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-impact earned results while growing as a strategic, culture-savvy communicator.
