Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
This project centers on the implementation of the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for a major healthcare organization, with a specific focus on the successful development and deployment of interfaces using Epic Bridges. The client operates in the healthcare sector and seeks to streamline patient data flow among multiple clinical and administrative systems.
- Manage the full integration lifecycle between Epic and external/internal healthcare systems (laboratory, pharmacy, billing, imaging, etc.) via industry standards like HL7, FHIR, and X12.
- Lead a team of Bridges analysts, ensuring coordinated progress and quality on all Bridges-related build and integration efforts.
- Align team deliverables with the larger program timeline to ensure readiness for go-live.
- Maintain rigorous PMO standards—including risk identification, mitigation, escalation, and executive reporting across all interface workstreams.
- To ensure timely, accurate, and secure data exchanges between Epic and all dependencies, enabling a smooth and compliant EMR rollout and fostering clinical and business adoption.
- Blend project management strength (driving schedules, team performance, reporting, escalation) with enough technical understanding to support and guide an interfaces team, ensuring all Epic Bridges workstreams are delivered on time and ready for a successful go-live.

Qualifications
Required
- Must have Epic Bridges Certification (required or obtainable within a defined period upon hire).
- 5+ years of experience with Epic Bridges, interface engines, and healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, X12, etc.).
Be adept at understanding interface workflows, troubleshooting, and guiding a technical team—even if not the primary builder.
- 5+ years in healthcare IT project management, ideally leading teams on EMR/EHR implementations with a strong integration component.
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and motivate technical teams to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- 5+ years of proactive escalation, risk mitigation, and executive-level communication skills. Must have organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities. Must be comfortable balancing technical oversight with people management and administrative rigor.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
